Learning Time Through Play
Hickery Dickery Dock introduces one of the earliest learning concepts — time — in a way that feels fun and accessible.

In our version, Clyde becomes fascinated by the clock. But instead of simply watching it, he turns it into a game. Can he race the clock? Can he beat the ticking hands?
Of course… things don’t go quite as planned.
Hamish steps in to guide the moment, helping children understand what’s happening while still keeping the playful energy alive.
This rhyme helps children:
Recognise numbers and patterns
Develop early time awareness
Improve listening and recall
Engage with rhythm and repetition
What makes it effective is that learning happens naturally, through curiosity and play.
The ticking clock, the climbing mouse, and the repetition all work together to create something both educational and entertaining.
