👏 If You're Happy and You Know It

Singing, Smiling and Making Happy Memories

There's something wonderfully infectious about If You're Happy and You Know It. Within just a few seconds, children are clapping, stomping, laughing, and joining in with every action. It's one of those nursery rhymes that fills a room with smiles and brings families together through music and movement.

At Hamish & Clyde, we've given this much-loved classic our own playful twist. Hamish encourages everyone to join the actions, while Clyde's enthusiastic personality means he sometimes gets a little carried away! Whether he's clapping too loudly, stomping a little too hard, or adding his own silly dance moves, there's always something to make children giggle.

More than just a fun song, If You're Happy and You Know It helps children recognise and express emotions in a positive way. Singing about happiness while moving their bodies encourages confidence, coordination, and self-expression. It's also a wonderful way for parents, grandparents, and carers to join in, creating moments that children will remember long after the song has finished.

Interactive nursery rhymes like this one also support important developmental skills, including listening, following instructions, rhythm, balance, and gross motor movement. Best of all, children learn naturally while they're having fun.

Whether it's the first song of the morning or an energetic activity before bedtime, Hamish and Clyde are here to make every moment a little brighter.

If your family loves singing, dancing, and learning together, we'd love you to join our growing community.
